Privacy policy

This is the privacy policy for emara.dev, the website of Emara, a software services studio. It explains, in plain language, what data the Site collects and what happens to it.

The short version: the only personal data the Site handles is what you type into the contact form or send us by email or WhatsApp — and it is used only to reply to you. The Site sets no cookies and runs no advertising trackers.

The form asks for four things: your name, your email address, a few sentences about your project, and an optional link. We use them for one purpose only — replying to your inquiry. Nothing is added to a mailing list, and nothing is shared with anyone for marketing.

When you submit, the message is handled entirely inside Emara's own Cloudflare account: a small verification program we run checks the submission, and Cloudflare's Email Routing delivers it to Emara's inbox as an ordinary email. There is no third-party form service, and the Site keeps no copy — no database, no archive. Your message simply arrives in our inbox, stays there as long as it is useful, and is deleted when it no longer is.

The Site counts a handful of explicit actions: clicks on contact links, starting and submitting the form, and messages that were delivered. Each count carries the page's language (English or Arabic), and for clicks, which link was used. No cookies are set, nothing is stored in your browser, and no session recordings are made.

The counts never contain personal data: names, email addresses, and message contents never reach analytics — your words go to the inbox and nowhere else. The analytics service is PostHog, configured in its cookieless mode with person profiles disabled, so it cannot link any action to an identity. There are no advertising pixels and no cross-site tracking of any kind.
